Scholarship Program

Advancing legal education

This year, the Illinois Bar Foundation will award thirteen law students a total of $39,000 in scholarship funds. The Foundation awards a $3,000 to a student at each of the nine law schools in Illinois, two law schools in Northwest Indiana and two located in St. Louis, Missouri. Recipients are second or third year law students who are active in their law school and community, excel academically and have financial need. The scholarship favors students who intend to practice in Illinois and who have joined the ISBA.
