Russell Hartigan is community’s Citizen of Year

Chicago attorney Russell W. Hartigan of Hartigan & Cuisinier, a member of the ISBA Board of Governors and the Illinois Bar Foundation board, will be honored Saturday, Jan. 19, as a Western Springs Citizen of the Year.
The award presentation will take place during a 6:30 p.m. reception and dinner at Ruth Lake Country Club, Hinsdale.
A 1975 graduate of The John Marshall Law School and president of its alumni association, Hartigan is a Lyons Township trustee and a former trustee of the Village of Western Springs.
He received a Community Service Award in October 2006 from the DesPlaines Valley Council of Boy Scouts of America for volunteer contributions that included service as president and treasurer of the Lyons Township Mental Health Commission board.
