Section, committee appointments open
ISBA President-elect Jack C. Carey of Belleville has set a deadline of Feb. 8 for members who want to apply for appointment to any of the 37 section councils and 23 committees for the 2008-09 year.
ISBA members may nominate themselves for one or more of about a thousand appointments that Carey will make. The list of section councils and committees, and an application form, are published in this issue of the Bar News.
“All members have the opportunity to be considered for service,” Carey said, “and I extend to each the invitation to seek appointment.”
