Alan S. Ganz died peacefully at Evanston Hospital on October 31, 2021. He was born and raised in Gary, Indiana, the child of Alexander Ganz, a Ukrainian immigrant, and Joan Stropke.

Richard Gordon Lambert, 86, of Marion passed away at 5:50 a.m., Thursday, on March 18, 2021, at his home surrounded by family.
Gordon was born in Marion on March 9, 1935, to Richard and Elsie (Stratman) Lambert. He married Jo Ellen Ray of Goreville on November 9, 1963, and together they shared more than 57 wonderful years of marriage. She survives in Marion.

On behalf of the circuit judges of the Third Judicial Circuit, Chief Judge William A. Mudge announced that Angela P. Donohoo and Ronald S. Motil were elected to fill the associate judge vacancies in the Third Judicial Circuit. These associate judge vacancies were created by the election of Associate Judge Stephen A. Stobbs to the circuit court and the resignation of Associate Judge John B. Julian.

The deadline to submit nominating petitions for the ISBA election is Monday, February 1.
Members of the ISBA will elect a third vice president (outside Cook County) and one seat each for the following Board of Governors seats: Area 1 (Circuit 18), Area 6 (Circuits 7, 8, and 9), and Area 8 (Circuits 3 and 20). There is also one Board of Governors seat in Cook County. There are 26 open seats for Cook County Assembly.
